A Resume Genius Alternative With No Subscription
If you're here because you're trying to cancel a Resume Genius subscription, you're not alone — their free tier only exports a plain .txt file, and their paid plans auto-renew. CV Creator is a straightforward alternative: no account, no recurring charge, and a genuinely polished PDF.
Just here to cancel Resume Genius?
We don't manage their billing, so we can't cancel it for you — and their own process is the one that's actually guaranteed to be current. Log in at resumegenius.com, open My Account, and use the Cancel Subscription option. Their full, official steps (plus refund terms) are here:

Common questions
Do I need to cancel anything with CV Creator?
No. There's no account and no subscription to begin with, so there's nothing to remember to cancel.
Does CV Creator store my CV data?
No. Your data stays in your browser's local storage. The server only sees it briefly while generating the PDF, then deletes the temporary file immediately afterward.
Is the PDF actually good quality?
It's typeset with LaTeX (the moderncv package), the same typesetting engine used for academic papers and professional documents — not an HTML page rendered to PDF.
How do I cancel my Resume Genius subscription?
That's handled entirely on their end — see Resume Genius's own cancellation guide for their current, official steps.
